Soroptimists in 122 countries engage in grassroots projects and international advocacy to make a difference for women and girls and work towards the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals on issues such as gender equality and education for all.
Soroptimist International of the South West Pacific contributes to the SI mission to transform the lives and status of women and girls through education, empowerment and enabling opportunities.
Membership is an important pillar of our organisation and we are actively looking for members to make a difference, and add momentum to our movement. Our projects at Club, National and International levels include addressing gender disparity over pay, safety, literacy, education, and health. Membership also offers opportunities for friendship, personal growth and development, and an international network of like minded women.
